**PROGRAMME**
Week One	10am - 12 noon	This is a special session, and the morning is spent in the playroom with the children, getting to know the staff and tutors.
Week Two	9.30am - 12.30pm	On arrival, the children are settled into the playroom. The course is held each morning between 10 am and 12 noon, followed by a sandwich lunch shared with the children. The first session is a course introduction.
Week Three	9.30am - 12.30pm	'Me and My Family'
Week Four	9.30am - 12.30pm	Meeting Family Needs
Week Five	9.30am - 12.30pm	Child Development
Week Six	9.30am - 12.30pm	Changing Behaviour
Week Seven	9.30am - 12.30pm	Understanding the Importance of Play
Week Eight	9.30am - 12.30pm	Where Am I Now?

It has been established to protect and preserve the mental and physical health of families with children under five years of age who are resident in the London Borough of Sutton.

Family Focus aims to:

work alongside parents, particularly those who are socially or economically disadvantaged, to develop the whole range of family life skills in order to meet their individual needs and those of their children, in the interest of combating poverty, promoting social welfare and with the object of improving their conditions and quality of life;

to improve the self-awareness and self-esteem of the parents so that they can confidently enjoy parenthood; and

to provide parents with a service to empower them to cope with the everyday demands of modern society.
